Huawei is fond of releasing the same device under different names in different countries; an example of such scenario is the Huawei P8 Lite which launched as the Huawei G Elite in Latin America. In similar vein, the Chinese company is ready to launch the Huawei Honor 7i as the Huawei ShotX in Europe.
According to the information available, retailers in Germany are already taking reservations (pre-order) for the Huawei ShotX with delivery expected in two weeks. The pre-order price tag is €349/$397; available in Coastal Gold, Isle Blue, and Polar White colour options.
The most interesting highlight of the Huawei ShotX (or Huawei Honor 7i) is the sliding 13MP camera with Dual LED flash which can be used as either a front camera or a rear camera by sliding the rear located camera up. It sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD display and supports 4G LTE connectivity.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM along with 16GB space of internal storage. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot onboard.
Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with EMUI 3.1, the Huawei ShotX has Dual SIM slots, has a fingerprint scanner on the side and a 3100mAh battery is in charge of keeping the lights on.
