Huawei has taken the wraps off its anticipated Android Wear OS running smartwatch and trust me the watch is a timepiece to have on your wrist. The smartwatch has thin bezels like the Moto 360 from Motorola and has a round display like the Watch Urbane from LG.
The Huawei Watch sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with Sapphire crystal screen with a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels and resulting in a pixel density of 268ppi (more than the Moto 360 and Watch Urbane). The watch contains 260 components which was used in designing the watch, out of which 130 is hand made.
The watch is made of cold-gorged stainless steel, measures 42mm (the case), comes with interchangeable bands for men and women, the bands would also be available in either metal or leather bands. The bands are standard 18nm and are available in Gold/Brown leather, Silver and Black and two metal mesh of binding colours. There is also an all black leather band option and gold coloured stainless steel band.
The Huawei watch runs Android Wear OS, comes with health tracking software, heart rate monitor and support for Jawbone and Google Fit. The watch comes with an accompanying app which allows its integration to third-party apps.
