Huawei Y6 II with Android 6.0 and either Kirin 620 or Snapdragon 617 SoC

Huawei has launched the second generation model of the Huawei Y6 smartphone from last year. Dubbed the Huawei Y6 II, the new phablet-sized device offers improvements over its predecessor starting with the OS which has been upped to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EMUI 4.1.

The Huawei Y6 II is available in two chipset models – the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 620 with ARM Mali-450 MP4 GPU (for the CAM-L23, CAM-L21, CAM-L03 models) and the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 MSM8952 processor with Adreno 405 GPU for the CAM-L32 model only.

The device sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels screen resolution, packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage. It measures 154.3 x 77 x 8.45 mm in dimensions, total weight is 168 grams and energy is supplied by the sizeable 3000mAh battery under the hood (non-removable).

In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with 28mm lens with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The front camera is a 8MP snapper with f/2.0 and 77-degree wide angle lens for Selfies. The Huawei Y6 II supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks, and arrives in Black, White, Gold, Pink, Blue and Yellow colour options. ‎
