Huawei has freshened up it’s smartphone lineup with the addition of the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019. The budget device is up for pre-order in the Philippines for Php 6,990 (~ USD 134). It was launched in Sri Lanka alongside the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 and Huawei Y9 2019.
The Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 features a 6.09-inch IPS LCD HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) FullView display with dewdrop notch and 87-percent screen-to-body ratio, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port and a 3,020mAh battery (non-removable) with AI power management technology.
It has a textured leather finish back cover and arrives in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colours. Photography is handled by a single 13MP (f/1.8) rear camera with PDAF and a 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with Toning Flash 2.0 feature and face unlock.
On the inside, the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage (expandable up to 512GB microSD card). It comes pre-loaded with EMUI 9.0 (based on Android 9.0 Pie) and has Huawei’s Super Sound feature (built-in FM Radio, Histen 5.0 & Party mode).
