Just days after the Enjoy 9 Plus surfaced on Huawei’s website for China, the company has announced the Huawei Y9 2019, which is targeted at the younger generation. It will go on sale starting Mid-October 2018 in Levant markets (Cyprus, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Turkey).
The Huawei Y9 2019 is basically the Enjoy 9 Plus for the international markets. It has the same notched 6.5-inch FullView LCD LTPS 19.5:9 display with 3D curved design and a total of four cameras i.e 16MP + 2MP dual front and 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with AI photography technology.
The device is powered by the Huawei Kirin 710 octa-core 12nm processor paired with either 4GB + 64GB or 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage options. It comes pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with EMUI on top and is backed by a massive 4,000mAh battery with AI Power 7.0 for long-lasting user experience (up to 14 hours of 4G Internet access).
Huawei also mention the presence of Fingerprint 4.0 identification technology, which allows the user unlock the device in just 0.3 second. There is no word on pricing in these markets yet but it will arrive in Aurora Violet, Magic Night Black and Sapphire Blue colours.
