A new smartphone under the popular Hyundai brand has gone on sale in the Philippines. The Hyundai Aero Plus is the second gen smartphone from the popular Korean car manufacturer in conjunction with Cellprime, following the super slim and sleek Hyundai Aero launched earlier this year.
Pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the Hyundai Aero Plus sports a premium looking aluminium metal body with design inspired by the Hyundai Tucson, 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS LCD display with 2.5D Dragontrail glass and a rear placed fingerprint sensor.
On the inside, the device is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor paired with Mali-T860 GPU, 32GB/64GB built-in expandable storage space and 3GB/4GB RAM. It has Dual SIM slots and the 3000mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery can last up to 18 hours of talk time or 20 days standby time.
The main camera is one of the highlight – a 21MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, HDR, RAW and dual LED flash. The camera has a near full control with up to ISO 1600 and 32 seconds shutter speed adjustments. The front camera is a 8MP snapper with f/2.4 aperture and 88-degree wide angle lens.
The rest of the specs includes 4G LTE-A, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Pricing for the Hyundai Aero Plus starts at Php 13,990 (USD 280) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model and Php 15,990 (USD 320) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model.
