i-mobile IQ II – Thailand gets First Android One smartphone

Google has officially announced the – i-mobile IQ II, the first Android One smartphone for Thailand. The device is on sale for THB 4,444 which is around $126 or €116 from i-mobile’s official website and selected retail outlets around the country in Black and White hues.

The i-mobile IQ II joins the just announced Lava Pixel V1 as the next wave of Android one smartphones. It sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), 1GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor clocked at 1.2GHz.

For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot on-board for storage expansion. The main camera is a 8MP snapper with LED flash; and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options on the i-mobile IQ II includes – 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

The i-mobile IQ Mobile runs stock version of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and would get updates directly from Google for two years after purchase. It supports Dual SIM functionality, weighs 134 grams, measures 140.5 x 69.75 x 9.3 mm and is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
