Thailand based company, i-Mobile has announced a new high-end smartphone – the i-mobile IQ Z PRO. The device has a painted metal frame along with glossy plastic or glass looking body build and a Dual camera setup on the back. It is available in the Thai market for a price tag of THB 11,900 (~ US$ 332).
The i-mobile IQ Z PRO sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and a pixel density of 401 ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The Hybrid Dual SIM (Mini + Nano/MicroSD) enabled device has 32GB internal storage space and the other SIM slot serves as a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The IQ Z PRO uses a Dual rear camera set up – 13MP main camera + 2MP camera for depth sensing; the front camera is a 8MP snapper. Both the front and back cameras have LED flash.
The i-mobile IQ Z PRO uses the DVB and ISDB-T systems for viewing terrestial digital broadcasting (Television and Video). Connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB v2.0 port and 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4 – up to 150Mbps download speed). It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 3500mAh Lithium Polymer battery.
