IBall has announced a new smartphone in the company’s Andi series – the iBall Andi 5.5H Weber. It is already available from offline retailers for a price tag of Rs. 6999 (US$ 104) but actually has a MRP Rs 7499 (US$ 112). Golden and White are available colour options.
Moving to the specs, the iBall Andi 5.5H Weber sports a 5.5-inch IPS Full Lamination display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). It is powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-400 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage space.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. For photography, there is 5-megapixels camera with LED flash (interpolated to take up to 8-megapixels camera photos) and front facing 2-megapixels camera (interpolated up to 5-megapixels) for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options onboard includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G HSPA+ but no 4G LTE support. The iBall Andi 5.5H Weber comes with Dual SIM slots, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2200mAh Li-ion battery. It also supports 21 Indian regional language in Reading and Writing capacities.
