iBall has announced the iBall Andi 5K Panther, its first device running on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS as well its first device running on a octa-core processor. The iBall Andi 5K Panther would compete against the likes of WickedLeak Wammy Neo Youth and the Obi Octopus S520.
The iBall Andi 5K Panther features a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) IPS display, pixel density of 220ppi, 1.4GHz octa-core (unspecified chipset) processor, 1GB of RAM, GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). There is a 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera.
The Dual-SIM Andi 5K Panther runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and powered by a1900mAh battery with no word on talk time and standby time. Connectivity options on the device includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and 3G.
