To the Indian market, iBall is a very well known brand and it’s portfolio includes different smartphones and tablets. The company is adding another octa-core processor smartphone to its line – i.e the iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus. The device is very similar to the iBall Andi5S Cobalt3 which was launched last year but this time with a slightly reduced processor.
The iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Open Glass Solution. Under the hood is an octa-core Cortex A7 processor which clocks at 1.4GHz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot which adds up to extra 32GB space.
On the back, there is a 13MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 3.5mm Audio Jack, FM Radio and 3G HSPA+.
The iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus supports Dual SIM functionality, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is powered by a 2250mAh battery. It is expected to be available in Black colour option only for Rs 10,990 ($178).
