iBall Andi Sprinter 4G announced with 5-inch display, 4G LTE and IR blaster

iBall has announced a new entry-level 4G smartphone in India; the device in question is the iBall Andi Sprinter 4G. The 5-inch sized devices doesn’t outdo itself in terms of specs, costs Rs 7099 ($108) and also supports 4G LTE and 21 regional languages including Assamese, Bengali, Konkani, Kashmiri, Maithili and Bodo.

Moving to the hardware specs, the iBall Andi Sprinter 4G sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) and is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735M processor clocked at 1.0GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB expandable built-in storage space.

In the camera segment, there is a front facing 3.2-Megapixels camera for selfies as well as video chats; and a rear facing 8-Megapixels camera with LED flash. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot which accepts cards up to 64GB and Connectivity options onboard includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE.

The iBall Andi Sprinter 4G also come with universal remote functionality (IR Blaster) feature which turns the phone into a remote control for controlling appliances at home (fans, home theatre, Television, fridges, DVD players and others). It has Dual SIM slots, boot Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2100mAh battery. Available colour options are Gold and Wine.
