iBall has been on a roll lately with a series of smartphone and tablets, the company has taken things further by announcing a new 4G smartphone in India – the iBall Cobalt 5.5F Youva. It is available for a price tag of Rs. 8999 (~ US$ 133) from various retail stores across the country.
None of the local manufacturers in India has launched any Android Marshmallow smartphone yet, so the iBall Cobalt 5.5F Youva continues the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS trend. It sports a 5.5-inch Fully Laminated IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution, 2.5D Curved glass and 294ppi pixel density.
The device relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6582M processor clocked at 1.0GHz with ARM Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage space. Connectivity options onboard includes – 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0 and GPS.
For photography, there is a front facing 5-megapixel camera for selfies and a rear facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash. The iBall Cobalt 5.5F Youva has Dual SIM slots, a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB) and backed by a 2600mAh battery.
