The iBall Slide 3G i80 is the latest tablet from the company’s slide series of tablets. It is the first tablet from the Indian-based company powered by a processor from Intel and not onlly comes with cellular capabilities, it is also capable of making voice calls.
The iBall Slide 3G i80 is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core processor clocked at 1.33GHz (burst speed up to 1.86GHz) paired with Intel HD graphics, 1GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot on board for storage expansion up to 32GB.
It sports a 8-inch IPS display with screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, rear facing 5-megapixels auto-focus camera and a front facing 2-megapixels camera for video calls & Sellfies.. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, micro USB v2.0, USB OTG, micro HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G.
It comes with SIM card slot, hence it’s voice calling capability over 3G. iBall is no talking about the Android version on the slate which suggests it might be a dated version.
It is backed by a 4400mAh battery and support 19 local Indian languages. The iBall Slide 3G i80 is expected to retail for a price tag of Rs 10,499 ($163) and is expected to go on sale across India soon rather than later.
