The iBall Slide Cuboid is the latest Slide series tablet from India based company, iBall. The 8-incher has been listed up on the company’s website along with the specification and carries an affordable price tag, below US$ 150.
Sporting an 8-inch display, the iball Slide Cuboid has a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and 188ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Cortex A53 processor (Mediatek MT6735P/M) clocked at 1GHz paired with a Mali 400 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
The slate has a slim aluminium build, 16GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. For photography, there is a front facing 2MP camera for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 5MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash.
The iball Slide Cuboid has a Single SIM slot, supports 4G LTE networks and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS along with some pre-installed apps. Other connectivity options include – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and Micro USB port.
Arriving in Black colour option only, the tablet support regional Indian and local languages, and is powered by a 4500mAh battery which should provide up to 1800 minutes of audio playback time, up to 300 minutes of video playback time and up to 1680 minutes of voice calls on 2G.
