Indian device maker, iBall has announced a tablet with 4G LTE support and voice calling functionality – the iBall Slide Cuddle 4G. The device also qualifies as a phablet because it has a diagonal screen size less than 7 inches. It will arrive in Metallic Blue colour only for a price tag of Rs 9,999 (Rs. 10,499 MRP).
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the iBall Slide Cuddle 4G Tablet sports a 6.95-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
For photography, there is a front facing 2MP camera and a rear facing 5MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash; both cameras are interpolated with software to take 5MP and 8MP photos respectively. Connectivity options on the slate includes GPS, micro USB v2.0, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM Radio and 4G LTE connectivity.
As mentioned earlier, the iBall Slide Cuddle 4G Tablet makes voice calls and has Dual SIM slots for this purpose; it boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 2800mAh battery with less than a day of usage assured.
