Indian OEM, iBall has a new interesting tablet phablet sized midrange smartphone – the iBall Slide Cuddle A4. The device is currently selling on eBay for Rs 8690 but the MRP is Rs 9699 ($153 | €135) and is available in Gold and White colour options.
The iBall Slide Cuddle A4 features a 6.95-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
On the rear, there is a 5MP rear auto-focus camera with LED flash, the front camera is a 2MP snapper, supports Dual SIM slots and it disappointedly runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G HSPA+ with voice calling, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB OTG.
The iBall Slide Cuddle A4 has built in multi language keyboard support for Indian languages and has a gesture feature which lets you draw on the lock screen to launch certain apps. The device is backed by a 2800mAh battery.
