iBall has announced a new voice calling tablets in the slide series; the tablet is the first in India with a front facing 8MP selfie camera – the iBall Slide Stellar A2. In terms of functionality, asides making voice calls and having Dual SIM card slots, it also supports 19 Indian regional languages.
The iBall Slide Stellar A2 features a 7-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, powered by an Octa-Core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. For additional storage, there is a microSD slot onboard which supports up to 32GB cards.
As earlier mentioned, the slate supports Dual SIM functionality, makes voice calls, sports a rear facing 8MP camera with Dual LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 3G HSPA+ and USB OTG.
The device also has NFC-like HotKnot onboard which also confirms the chipset is from MediaTek, runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The iBall Slide Stellar A2 is available in Black colour option only and is priced equivalent to Rs 11999 ($191).
