iBall has announced two new 2-in-1 Windows 8.1 tablets in India, the two slates are the iBall Slide WQ149i and iBall Slide WQ149R.
Both devices have virtually the same specs with the difference coming in cellular connectivity – the iBall Slide WQ149i is Wi-Fi enalbed only, while the iBall Slide WQ149R comes with Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity; however both devices are Cellular connectivity ready thanks to ‘Ultra Stick 3G’ which can be purchased separately.
The iBall Slide WQ149i and iBall Slide WQ149R sports a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280×800 pixels) IPS multi-touch display, powered by an Intel Atom processor (up to 1.83GHz) with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. There is no word on additional storage via microSD card.
Other specs features includes – 5MP main camera, 2MP front camera, USB OTG, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB, Micro-USB and runs Windows 8.1 OS. There is no word on the battery capacity but both slates will be bundled with a Pogo-pin keyboard which transforms it into a hybrid slate.
The iBall Slide WQ149i and Slide WQ149R costs Rs 18,499 and Rs 19,999 respectively. Microsoft is also offering a year free Microsoft Office 365 license and 1TB of free OneDrive storage.
