iBall Slide WQ77 Windows tablet with Intel Atom SoC and 4000mAh battery

Flipkart is already selling the iBall Slide WQ77 Windows tablet; the latest entrant to the Slide series of tablet has not seen any official announcement or listing by the company. The tablet is selling for INR 6999 in Metallic Blue colour option.

The iBall Slide WQ77 features a 7.85-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor (base clock 1.3GHz, burst up to 1.83GHz) paired with 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 64GB).

On the rear there is a 5MP camera with LED flash and there is a front facing 2MP camera. The tablet measures 136.3 x 204.3 x 8.3 mm in dimensions, weighs around 367 grams, no SIM card slot and currently runs on Windows 8.1 OS  which is upgradable to Windows 10 OS when it is widely available starting July 29th. 

A non-removable 4000mAh battery backs the iBall Slide WQ77 and since there is no SIM card slot it is a Wi-Fi only tablet but can also support 3G connectivity via a Dongle but won’t make voice calls. Connectivity options on the tablet includes – USB OTG, micro USB, Bluetooth and 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi.

Microsoft has also thrown in additional perks – those purchasing the tablet get free one year of Office 365 subscription and additional free 1TB of Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage.
