Interdnestrcom (IDC), the largest communication company in Transnistria (Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic – PMR) has announced the IDC Emcee LTE smartphone under its own name branding. The device is available for a price tag of RUB. PMR 1,400 Transnistrian Ruble (less than US$ 160) and arrives in either Black or While colour option.
The IDC Emcee is the first from the IDC brand and supports FDD-LTE / CDMA2000 / GSM networks. It features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD LCD display, has Dual SIM (Micro + Micro) slots and is backed by a moderate 2100mAh Lithium-ion battery. It measures 143 x 73x 8mm in dimensions and weighs in at 149 grams.
On the inside, it relies on a 64-Bit Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with Adreno 306 GPU for graphics, 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop Version. For extra storage space, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
For photography, there is a rear facing 8MP AutoFocus camera with Led flash and a front facing 2MP camera for video chats and Selfies. Connectivity options on the Emcee include 4G LTE (Cat.4), Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n (2.4GHz).
