Even though the big guns likes Samsung, Lenovo, Sony and Acer has been dominating the headlines at the IFA 2015 in Berlin; companies like Hisense also showcased some of their wares at the event.
More famous for producing TVS, Hisense showed off two smartphones – the smartphone sized Hisense Pure Shot L671 and the phablet sized Hisense Pure Shot Plus L695. Both device share most details in common but the difference comes in the screen size and battery.
The Hisense Pure Shot has a 5-inch IPS display and backed by a 2200mAh battery while the Hisense Pure Shot Plus has a 5.5-inch IPS display and is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
Both screen sizes has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), a pixel density around 295ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, there is a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 614 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of expandable internal storage.
Handling photography is a front facing 5MP camera and a rear facing 13MP f/2.0 camera with Dual LED flash, blue glass lens for low light conditions. Connectivity options includes – GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+.
Both the Hisense Pure Shot and Pure Shot Plus are Dual SIM enabled (with Dual Standby), measures 8.3mm thin and runs on Android Lollipop OS with Hisense UI ontop.
