At its IFA 2016 conference, Acer announced notebooks, mini-PC, gaming laptop and mobile devices. Also announced are the Acer Liquid Z6 Plus, Liquid Z6 and Iconia Talk S, with the aim to integrate personal and professional life on the go. All three run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
Acer Liquid Z6 Plus and Liquid Z6
Both the Acer Liquid Z6 Plus and Liquid Z6 sport minimalist designs and elegant 2.5D curved glass while the plus model also adds an ultra-premium metal back casing. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the operating system under the hood, with the company’s UI.
The Acer Liquid Z6 sports a 5-inch Full HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core processor (Mediatek MT6737) along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space. The rest of the specs includes – 8MP AF main camera, 2MP front selfie camera and a reasonable price tag of EUR 119.
Sporting a bigger 5.5-inch display, the Acer Liquid Z6 Plus has a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) and is powered by an octa-core processor (Mediatek MT6753) paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage space and sells for a price tag of EUR 249. December is the scheduled launch.
Additional specs include – 13MP AF main camera, 5MP selfie camera, fingerprint sensor and a sizeable 4080mAh battery.
Acer Iconia Talk S
The Acer Iconia Talk (A1-734) is a new 4G LTE enabled tablet with voice calling ability. It sports a 7-inch 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) display with anti slip body and could last up to 9 hours of usage, thanks to Intelligent power management. Other key specs includes – quad-core Mediatek processor, 13MP main camera and built-in storage space (expandable up to 128GB).
The Iconia Talk S (A1-734) also brings the Iconia Suite apps with easy and intuitive access to smart functions. It will be available on sale in EMEA starting at a price tag of EUR 169.
