Chinese device maker, Five Technology has announced the iFive Pro 2 – a new 9.7-inch Android tablet along with a keyboard dock for usage as a laptop when needed and a fingerprint sensor in the home button. Availability is expected to be centered majorly in to China and there is no word on pricing.
Moving to the specs; the iFive Pro 2 sports a 9.7-inch Retina Display with IPS Panel, 2048 x 1536 pixels screen resolution and a pixel density of 264ppi. On the inside, it is powered by a quad-core Rockchip RK3288 ARM Cortex-A17 processor with Mali-764 GPU along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.
For addition storage space, there is a microSD card slot. The rest of the specs includes – front 5-megapixels camera, rear facing 13-megapixels camera (with LED flash), 5 contact keyboard port, Bluetooth 4.1 and Dual-Band Wi-Fi. The all metal body builds and artificial leather (faux leather) on the rear panel gives the slate an all round premium look and feel.
The iFive Pro 2 Tablet measures 243.1 x 171.1 x 7.9 mm in dimensions, weighs 500 grams without the keyboard dock and is backed by a built-in 7800mAh battery.
