Infinix Mobility recently added a new addition to its well-known Hot series of smartphones. The Infinix Hot 6X, as it is called, is marketed with the #SeeEverything hash tag on social media and expected to slot right in ahead of the Infinix Hot 6 / Hot 6 Pro.
The Infinix Hot 6X is built around a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a wide notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, up to 87-percent screen-to-body ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 500 nits brightness. It measures 157.02 x 75.7 x 8.35 mm and boots Android 8.1 Oreo OS with XOS 3.3 on top.
Like the Infinix Hot 6 Pro, it also relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform. This SoC is paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB built-in storage. More storage can be added via the microSD card slot (up to 128GB cards).
For photography, there is a front placed 8MP (f/2.0) AI selfie camera with wide-angle lens, LED flash and Face ID support. The vertically aligned dual rear camera setup includes 13MP (f/1.8) + 2MP (f/2.4) sensors with Quad LED Flash, PDAF, Refocus and Portrait mode.
The Infinix Hot 6X also comes with 3D Dirac speakers, rear fingerprint sensor and power is supplied by a large capacity 4,000mAh battery (2 days of battery life). It has a reported N50,000 recommended retail price (RRP) in Nigeria and arrives in Bordeaux Red, Champagne Gold, Kent Blue and Midnight Black colours. It is on sale in Ghana for GHS 640.
