Infinix Mobility is currently gearing up for the release of a new smartphone – the Infinix Hot S X521, which is set to become the first Infinix smartphone with fingerprint sensor on-board. The company has been actively teasing the new device with the “all eyes on me” slogan moniker.
The Infinix Hot S X521 has been listed on Jumia Nigeria with most of the key specs and features confirmed. It is equipped with a front facing 8MP camera with Soft Light Selfie Flash and 120-degree wide angle lens; and a rear facing 13MP camera with Dual LED flash and various camera modes.
The device is powered by an octa-core 64-bit processor with either 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. It sports a 5.2-inch display, metal body frame and is backed by a 3000mAh battery with 1.5mAh fast charging.
The Hot S will arrive in five colour options – Black, Blue, Grey, Gold, and Pink colour options. The screen resolution is reportedly a (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD one instead of the usual (1280 x 720 pixels) HD. Located below the main camera, the fingerprint scanner can unlock the device; answer calls; shoot a picture or perform special assigned tasks.
The Infinix Hot S X521 will go official in a couple of days (or perhaps weeks) time but no word on the pricing yet. However, it should sell in the market for a price tag within the range of NGN 40,000 – NGN 59,999.
