Infinix Mobility has announced the launch of the latest ‘Hot S’ series smartphone in India. The Infinix Hot S3 (likely the Infinix S3 in some markets) is exclusively available via Flipkart in India and arrives in two RAM or Storage options: the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage for Rs. 8,999 (US$ 140) and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage for Rs. 10,999 (US$ 172).
The Infinix Hot S3 sports a 5.65-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1440 x 720 pixels (HD+) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is equipped with a front facing 20MP camera with with Dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture; rear facing 13MP camera with Dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording.
The smartphone relies on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and comes pre-installed with Android 8.0 Oreo OS with Infinix’s XOS V3.0 Hummingbird on top. It also has a rear fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM slots, micro USB port and a microSD card slot for expanding storage up to 128GB more.
Available starting February 12th in Brush Gold and Sandstone Black colour options, the Infinix Hot S3 supports 4G LTE with VoLTE connectivity and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that provides more than a day of mixed usage.
