Following the launch of the Tecno T-Band, Infinix has launched their own first ever wearable – the Infinix XBand (XB01). The newly launched Infinix smartwatch (smart bracelet) comes with a number of exciting features including find my phone, among other options for Android mobile device owners.
The Infinix XBand XBO1 has a trendy and fashionable build inspired by the outdoor lifestyle as well as a leather strap. One of the spotlighted feature is the ability to act as a Bluetooth Receiver when connected to a smartphone. It can also alert the user on incoming notifications, tells the date and time, records the usual metrics like steps, distance, and calories burnt.
The XBand has a ultra thin digital display with smart touch (0.96-inch POLED display) and is IP55-certified for dust resistant and protected from water (water resistant). Some other sources say it is shock proof as well as vibration proof. It weighs 26.7 grams and supports wireless syncing.
The Infinix XBand connects with Android smartphones with the help of the Infinix XBand app (which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store) and is backed by a 100mAh fast charging battery which promises 150 hours of standby time and around 5 – 7 hours of usage. It is reportedly available for a price tag of US$ 89 (currently around 25,000 – N28,000).
Infinix XEo2 Dual Noise Cancelling Headphones
Infinix also announced the Infinix XEo2 DNC headphones – the model offers dual noise cancellations while making calls and playing music on mobile devices. According to the release, the company says it guarantees “automatic noise cancellation quality (IC) of 95% with Hi-Fi sound and super sound quality”.
On a full charge, it can be used continuously for up to 10-hours. It arrives in a unique 2.5D wrapped body and features a red-green-yellow tri color LED indicator. There is no word on pricing yet.
