Although owned by the same body, Infinix and Tecno are two recognised brands in the Nigerian market. Not to lose ground to the latter following the recent release of the Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus, Infinix is reportedly working on new devices in the high-end Zero series – the Infinix Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus.
This will mark the first time Infinix is launching a flagship in two variants – Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus. Both sport a full metal body design, FHD screen resolution, rear placed fingerprint sensor, 64-bit octa-core processor, USB Type-C port and boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with the company’s XOS ontop.
The Infinix Zero 4 packs a 5.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage space and has a 16MP + 8MP (front and rear) camera combination along with Laser AutoFocus and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Under the hood, a 3200mAh battery with fast charging tech (XCharge) provides energy juice.
As naming suggests, the Infinix Zero 4 Plus will come with a number of upgrades, differentiating it from the regular. It is expected to have the same screen size (or a bit higher at 6-inch), octa-core Mediatek Helio X20 SoC, 64GB built-in storage space, 20.7MP main camera and a 4000mAh battery.
At the moment, there is no official word on the existence of the Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus. We will bring more information as soon as we have them.
