Fresh of announcing the mid-range Infinix Hot 2, Infinix has been teasing (#InfinixBig6) about a new smartphone which is expected to go official on this month (Nov 27) presumably in Lagos. If you have paid a visit to the company’s social media pages of recent, you will be familiar with the above hash tag.
Asides the #InfinixBig6 tag, the company added the teaser image and the cryptic statement as follows – “It is BIG as the universe yet so close to you. Do you know the name of the biggest planet?”
Jupiter is of course the biggest planet but unless the company is launching the Infinix Jupiter or Infinix Big 6, it could be an attempt to throw people off the real intent. Being a flagship, Infinix will want to outdo the just Tecno Phantom 5 by launching something close but priced lesser.
Based on a tip off, the device could have up to 6000mAh battery with flash charge, 3GB of RAM and around 6-inch display size. The choice of OS has to Android Lollipop OS but Infinix wouldn’t mind being the first local OEM to launch a smartphone running android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Recently, rumours surfaced that the company will soon debut the Hot Note Successor – the Infinix Hot Note 2. The device will pack an ample 5300mAh battery but other details are unknown for now. We will have to wait until the launch day to get the full details of the phone behind the #InfinixBig6 tag.
