US based manufacturer, Infocus and Indian E-commerce platform, Snapdeal has collaborated to bring the Infocus M2 android smartphone to India. The device is exclusive to Snapdeal, costs Rs. 4999 and is available in White and Black colour options.
The Indian version of the Infocus M2 is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and 3G connectivity while the US version is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 400 processor and supports 4G connectivity.
It sports a 4.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD LTPS display with a pixel density of 355ppi. Alongside the quad-core MediaTek Soc, it uses 1GB of RAM for handling tasks and has 8GB space of internal storage which is expandable by a microSD card slot (up to 64GB more).
The M2 packs a generous 8MP autofocus front camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture for video calls and selfies; the main camera is also a 8MP autofocus unit with 5P lenses, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 + BLE.
The Infocus M2 measures 135×64.5x 11.1mm, weighs145 grams, runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, supports Dual SIM (Micro SIMs) functionality and is backed by a 2010mAh non-removable battery.
