InFocus M808 with 5.2″ FHD display, 4G LTE and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS costs $201

InFocus has announced a new mid-range smartphone in India. Dubbed the InFocus M808 in India; the Android Lollipop running 5.2-inch device will start selling by September for a price tag of Rs 12,999 ($199) in Silver colour option only. 

Moving to the specs, the InFocus M808 features a 5.2-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. 

On the back lies a 13 Megapixels camera with LED flash and front camera is a 5 Megapixels snapper for selfies. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. Connectivity options on the M808 includes – NFC, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB v2.0, USB OTG, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+. 

The InFocus M808 supports Dual SIM slots with Dual standby, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with InLife UI ontop and is backed by a 2450mAh battery which should last some hours of usage. 

InFocus has also launched the InFocus M550 3D in India; the device which comes with a FHD 3D screen has been available in Taiwan since June. It is expected to go on sale in September for Rs 15999 ($247).
