InFocus M812 passes Bluetooth certification; looks like an upgraded InFocus M810

A yet to be announced smartphone from InFocus – the InFocus M812 smartphone has passed Bluetooth certification today. The device is expected to bring some improvement over the InFocus M810 phablet sized smartphone announced last year.

The InFocus M812 features a 5.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor clocked at 2.4GHz.

Tasks would be handled by 3GB of RAM and there is a 16GB space of internal storage for files, apps and more. The M812 has a front facing 8MP camera, rear facing 13MP camera and supports Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. It runs on Android 5.0.x Lollipop OS. It is also expected to support 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4) as well as Wi-Fi and GPS.

The InFocus M812 has most of the specs of the InFocus M810; it comes with improvements in the aspect of RAM ( from 2GB to 3GB), the front selfie camera is now a 8MP snapper compared to 5MP on the former and the OS has been updated to Android Lollipop from Kitkat. 

There could be other improvements too but for now that is only what we know about the smartphone. There is also no word on pricing, announcement or availability of the InFocus M812.
