InFocus S1 Debuts with 5.5″ FHD display, Helio P10 and Tencent OS

InFocus has announced its latest smartphone – the InFocus S1 with mid-range specs and affordable pricing. The phablet sized device runs Tencent OS 2.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, measures 7.9 mm thick, weigh in at 152 grams and will launch in for a price tag of CNY 999 (USD 152) in China.

Dressed in a metal body (rear and frames in Amber Gold colour) and a White front panel; the InFocus S1 sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution, a considerable 2900mAh battery and TAS2555 SmartPA by Texas Instruments for quality audio output.

Photography is handled by a rear facing 13-megapixel camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture and a front facing 8-megapixels selfie camera with 84.4-degree wide angle lens, f/1.87 aperture.‎ On the inside, there is an octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755M processor clocked 1.8GHz with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.

For additional storage space, there is ‎a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion up to 128GB. Connectivity options available on the Dual SIM enabled InFocus S1 includes – 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/A-GPS. The presence of a fingerprint sensor is in doubt but it comes with a Sensor Hub.
