Infographic: Official differences between Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S5

Samsung has over the past few weeks been promoting it’s new flagship smartphones for 2015 – the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Despite its many critics, the Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship of 2014 is another solid smartphone; the company is attempting to sway customer decision to part with the S5 for the S6.

Samsung on its official Blog posted an infographic which outlines the differences between the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S6 (SM-G920) and the Galaxy S5 (SM-G900) are pitched against one another in the aspects of Display, Camera, Charging, Memory, Speaker and Chipset.

Unsurprisingly the Samsung Galaxy S6 came out ontop in all the categories; little wonder Samsung calls the Galaxy S6 as it’s best smartphone yet. However the comparison doesn’t include facts like ‘waterproof rating’, ‘lack of microSD card’ and the ‘non-removable battery’ which specs purist like to have on their devices.

Obviously it gets to a point when manufacturers offer little or no improvement to their flagship smartphone for the year as they run out-of-ideas on what the improve from the predecessor to the successor. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge is expected to compete against its rivals in the top range – the upcoming LG G4, iPhone 6/iPhone 6s and the already announced HTC One M9.

Which would you go for the Quad-HD and metal body built Galaxy S6 or the plastic body Full-HD Galaxy S5? Peek the infographic below and let us know using the comment box below:
