Innjoo, one of players in the Nigerian smartphone industry, has finally announced its first Android 6.0 Marshmallow running smartphone – the Innjoo Fire 3 LTE. The company fond of ‘coming late to the OS party’ has released the successor to the Fire 2 LTE with the just dated Marshmallow.
Another highlight on the Innjoo Fire 3 LTE is the inclusion of a fingerprint sensor (rear placed) which unlocks the device and secures it. The device sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and is backed by a sizeable 3000mAh battery for up to/more than a day of usage.
On the inside, a Quad-core processor from Mediatek, possibly the same as the predecessor, is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. In the camera segment, there is a rear 13MP AutoFocus camera with 4P lens and f/2.0 aperture while the front camera is a 5MP snapper for selfies.
The Innjoo Fire 3 LTE will arrive in three colour options – Gold, Grey and Pink colours. There is no word yet on pricing and availability but the company’s regular market (Middle East and Africa) includes Nigeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
EXTRA:
In a separate news, Innjoo was recently fined by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) the sum of N4 million for violating orders, selling unauthorised and substandard mobile phones to the Nigerians.
