Innjoo has announced it is readying another budget flagship smartphone – the Innjoo Fire. The Fire range of smartphone is a new one from the company and is said to be available this week (May 21) at a launch event in Lagos.
The Innjoo Fire is expected to sport a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHd IPS display, powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400 MP4 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB Space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB more space).
On the rear and front, it uses a 5MP camera on each side and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with a visible UI ontop; it also comes pre-loaded with InnUI, InnBrowser, InnCloud, InnStore, InnTheme and InnForum. Connectivity options on the device includes – WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro USB and 3G. It is backed by a non-removable 2500mAh battery which is expected to keep the light on for some hours.
Compared to the Innjoo One which launched around three months ago, the Innjoo Fire comes with lesser specs, is more bulkier and fatter but is expected to have a better battery life and of course it is more affordable.
The innjoo Fire will come in Classic Black , Elegant White , Luxury Gold and Natural Bamboo colour options. It would be available exclusively on Jumia Nigeria and shouldn’t stray from the N15,000 to N20,000 mark in terms of pricing. It’s availability is scheduled starting June 1.
