Innjoo is a brand that no longer needs introduction at in UAE, Nigeria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The company revealed the Innjoo Max along with the Innjoo Fire back in May but the device is yet to go on sale.
Innjoo Max Specifications
The highlight of the Innjoo Max is the huge 4000mAh Li-Polymer battery capacity that powers it, hence the name Max. The battery charges fully within 3 hours thanks to Rapid Charge technology built-in and is expected to provide a minimum of 2 days of non-stop usage.
For specific usage the Max would be able to complete 22 hours of phone call, 14 hours of hands-free calls, 6.5 hours of video call, 10 hours of video playback time and around 50 hours of audio playback time, all on a single charge.
The Innjoo Max runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, supports Dual SIM functionality and only supports 3G connectivity, no 4G. It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, the metal-frame including the buttons on the side are made using Zinc-Titanium alloy metal and the back has a smooth textured feel.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-400 GPU, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. There is a microSD card slot available for additional storage (up to 64GB).
The main camera is 8MP AutoFocus snapper with LED flash and the front camera is 5MP snapper with 70-degree wide angle lens for selfies. Connectivity options on the Innjoo Max includes – Wi-Fi 802.11n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS and Bluetooth.
Pricing and Availability
Innjoo is still tight-lipped on the pricing and availability of the Innjoo Max, however the device should sell less than N25,000 or possibly around the N20,000.
Available colour options will be Black and White and there would be swapable back covers too. Another device already selling in other locations but yet to be available in Nigeria is the Innjoo Fire Pro.
