Micromax and Intel has announced the 8-inch Android OS powered Micromax Canvas Tab P666 tablet and it is the first tablet from Micromax which packs an Intel chipset; also supports 3G connectivity, a Dual SIM slot and voice calling capability.
As earlier mentioned, it is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom (Z2520) processor with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, PowerVR SGX544 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for expansion (up to 32GB) and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 sits on a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD IPS display, 5MP rear camera and a front 2MP camera. Expect the standard connectivity suite on the tablet – EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-FI as well as 3G connectivity. It also comes pre-loaded with the following apps – Dr. Safety, Opera Mini Browser, Hike messenger, SwiftKey, M! Games, M!live, Bookmyshow and more.
