The Intex Aqua 4G Strong smartphone is a new entrant into the company’s Aqua series devices. Although, the 4-inch device is 4G-enabled, the specs are basically entry-level which reflects in the pricing of the device. It is available for a price tag of Rs. 4499 (US$ 68).
The highlight of the Intex Aqua 4G Strong is support for 4G LTE networks and Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) which is the selling point of devices from Reliance Jio as well as compatibility with the LTE network bands in India – FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40).
Moving to the specs, the device sports a 4-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) screen resolution (233ppi), powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735M processor clocked at 1.0GHz with 768MB of RAM, 4GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB cards.
In the camera segment, there is a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera and a rear facing 2-megapixel camera with LED flash. Other connectivity options on the Dual SIM enabled Intex Aqua 4G Strong includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and Micro-USB. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 1700mAh battery which is expected to provide up to 240 hours of standby time and 6 hours of talk time.
