Intex has added the Intex Aqua Dream II to the its long list of smartphone portfolio; it is a sequel to the Intex Aqua Dream released back in April. It is available for a price tag in the region of Rs 7190.
In terms of design, the Intex Aqua Dream II has a brushed metal finish look and is available in three colour options – Black, Champagne and Silver colour options. It features a 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The phone supports on-screen gestures, by drawing a ‘C’ sign the camera app launches, the ‘W’ sign wakes up the design and ‘M’ to launch the music app. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
The Spreadtrum SC7731 Chipset used is paired with 1GB of RAM to handle operations and there is 8GB space of internal storage out of which only 5.82GB is user available. There is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion up to 32GB.
On the rear, there is a 8MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the Aqua Dream II includes – GPS, micro USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and 3G. Sensor options includes – G-Sensor, Light Assistant Sensor and Proximity.
Measuring 157 x 79 x 7.9 mm in dimensions, the Intex Aqua Dream II weighs 171 grams, supports Dual SIM slots, has FM Radio and runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It is backed by a 2300mAh Li-Po battery which provides up to 10 hours of talk time and around 250 hours of standby time.
