Intex Aqua GenX debuts with FHD display, 4G LTE and 2850mAh battery

Intex has announced a new smartphone in the company’s Aqua series of smartphone – the Intex Aqua GenX. It is priced at Rs 13299 ($200 USD) in Champagne and Silver colours.

Measuring 152.6 x 76.4 x 8.4mm in dimensions and weighing 175 grams in size; the Aqua GenX sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Asahi DragonTrail Glass Protection, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a non-removable 2850mAh battery.

Under the hood, the Intex Aqua GenX is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 64-bit processor with clock speed up to 1.3Ghz with ARM Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. 

For photography, there is a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and a rear facing 13MP camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF) and LED flash. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks and has an Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Micro SIM + Nano SIM/microSD). 

Other options on the device includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HotKnot and GPS. The Intex Aqua GenX has a Q-Key located on the side which works as a user-defined shortcut. The device has also the Glove mode, Smart Wake, Cast Screen and Smart Motion features.
