Intex has announced the Intex Aqua Glam smartphone which the company is targeting at the Female populace. The device is priced at Rs 7690 ($116) and is available across India in Pink and Champagne colour options.

Ladies love their bling-bling and generally their most popular priority specification in choosing a smartphone is the Camera. The company decided to adorn the body with Swarovski crystals to make the phone as a daily accessory and with a glass back, it has nothing short of a premium look.
The Intex Aqua Glam has a rear facing 8MP camera with Dual LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies. The camera comes with numerous features including Face Detection, Live Photo Mode, Smile Shot, Beauty Mode, Anti Shake when taking photos using the front camera, Voice Capture and HDR.
As if that is not enough, the Aqua Glam comes pre-loaded with some women loving apps which includes a Makeup app which is self-descriptive, Sanjeev Kapoor recipes app, Meditation app and the Sashakt Women’s safety app that automatically sends the location of the user to a predefined number in cases of danger and emergency.
And now for the specs, the Intex Aqua Glam sports a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. The device runs Android Lollipop OS, has 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
Measuring 139.3 x 69 x 7.4mm in dimensions and weighing about 116.2 grams, the Dual SIM enabled device supports standard connectivity options including 3G HSPA+ and HotKnot but no LTE connectivity and is backed by a 1850mAh battery.
