Intex has added a smartphone to its Aqua series of smartphone; the device in question is the Intex Aqua HD 5.0 which would be sold by online e-commerce platform – Flipkart. The Aqua 5.0 can be compared to the Intex Aqua Star HD in terms of its specs but it has a more beefed up battery power and more bulkier than the Aqua Star HD.
The Intex Aqua HD 5.0 sports a 5-inch IPS OGS display with a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels (HD). It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582V/X processor which clocks at 1.3GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot on-board for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
The Aqua HD 5.0 sports a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chat; a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash for handling photography. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and 3G HSPA+. It measures 68.2 x 134 x 9.9mm in dimensions, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, supports Dual SIM functionality and is backed by a 2300mAh battery.
The Intex Aqua HD 5.0 is available in Golden Blue and Golden Black colour options for Rs 6999 ($112) exclusively from Flipkart.
