Intex has launched a new smartphone in the line of the Aqua series with the 4.5-inch Intex Aqua i5 Mini; intex has also revealed plans to launch 8 more smartphones into the market by the third quarter of the year.

The dual sim (GSM + WCDMA) Intex Aqua i5 Mini features a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 pixels resolution FWVGA display, powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6582, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB with micro SD support) and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
The Intex Aqua i5 Mini sports a 8MP rear facing camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options on the device includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/aGPS, FM Radio. The device is powered by a 1500mAh battery
