India based device maker, Intex Mobiles has announced a new battery centric smartphone with 4G LTE support. Dubbed the Intex Aqua Power HD 4G; the budget device joins other Aqua Power series device with some of the most recent one being the Aqua Power 4G and Aqua Power II.
Available in three colour options – Champagne, Gray & White, the Intex Aqua Power HD 4G still runs the dated Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is equipped with a sizeable 3900mAh capacity battery which should be able to last about a day or two of usage and nothing less than a week on standby.
It sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and a pixel density of 294ppi. On the inside, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6592M processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage space.
In the camera aspect, the front 5MP camera handles the video calls and selfies while the rear 8MP AF camera with LED flash, is the main one. The Intex Aqua Power HD 4G is compatible 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA and 4G LTE (FDD-LTE & TD-LTE) networks, has Dual SIM slots as well as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS connectivity.
