Intex has listed up the successor to the Intex Aqua Power and predictably it is called the Intex Aqua Power II. The Aqua Power series of devices is associated with entry level devices packed with a huge battery capacity that lasts more than almost two days of mixed usage.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop OS running Intex Aqua Power II is backed by a 4000mAh battery which is said to provide up to 500 hours of standby time and up to 15 hours of talk time; both on a single charge. It sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD).
Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core spreadtrum SC7731 processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). On the back lies a 5MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies.
Connectivity options on the Intex Aqua Power II includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Micro USB, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi Hotspot and 3G. It measures 146 x 74 x 10.3 mm, weighs 152 grams, supports Dual SIM (Micro + Mini) functionality and is available in Black, Gold and White colour options for a price tag of Rs 6490 ($98). There is no word on availability yet.
