Intex Mobiles has added a new entry-level smartphone in the popular Aqua Power series to its device portfolio – the Intex Aqua Power M. The highlight of the device is the sizeable 4350mAh battery under the hood that is expected to last up to 620 hours on stand-by and 25 hours of talk time.
Powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, the Intex Aqua Power M sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and manages to boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 5MP camera with dual-tone LED Flash alongside a front facing 2MP camera with flash for selfies and video chats.
Due to the choice of processor, the device is stuck at 3G (HSPA+) and goes alongside WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity options. The Intex Aqua Power M measures 143.5 x 71.5 x 8.9 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 160 grams and comes in Champagne Gold color for a price tag of Rs. 4,800 (US$ 72).
