The Intex Aqua QWERTY is a budget phone recently launched in India by New-Delhi based consumer electronic firm, Intex. The Intex Aqua Qwerty is one of the first android with a QWERTY keyboard and its dons an entry-level specifications.

The Aqua QWERTY touch and type smartphone features a 3.5-inch HVGA (320 X 480 pixel ) display, powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM, runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 5MP front camera & 0.3MP front facing camera. The phone also comes with 3G, WiFi support, 4GB of in-built storage and microSD slot (expandable up to 32GB). The Aqua Qwerty features a 1300mAh removable battery which lasts around exactly a day under normal conditions
Intex is also expected to launch another budget android smartphone dubbed the Intex Cloud Y10. The smartphone is currently listed on the company’s official website as a coming soon device. The Intex Could Y10 would feature a 4-inch WVGA display, 2MP rear camera, 1GHz dual-core processor and would run on Android 4.2.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The Intex Aqua Qwerty touch and type smartphone has been launched in the Indian market and it costs around Rs 4990 (around N13, 500 in Nigerian Naira). The phone will be available in White and Black colours and details about its availability in others countries has not been revealed. Looking at the specs, we would expect this phone not to ship to countries like the US or the UK.
