Intex Aqua Star II HD with 5-inch display costs $104

Intex has added a new smartphone to the Aqua Star series of smartphone from the company. The Intex Aqua Star II HD as it is known is a lower midrange smartphone and is the successor to the Intex Aqua Star II with a minor change in specs.

The Intex Aqua Star II HD sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPs display which is the upgrade over the 5-inch FWVGA display on the Aqua Star II. The rest of the specs remains the same. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor paired with 1GB RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a expandable storage up to 32GB via MicroSD.

On the rear there is a 8MP main camera with LED flash and a front 5MP camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G HSPA+. It comes pre-loaded with apps such as Intex Service, MAD, Clean Master, NewsHunt, Ask Me, Opera Mini and OLX. 

The Intex Aqua Star II HD come with Dual SIM slots, FM Radio, measures 142 x 71.5 x 8.95mm, weighs 125g, supports 21 regional Indian languages, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 2000mAh battery. The device is available for Rs 6590 ($104) in White, Grey, Silver and Champagne colour options across Intex Strong distribution units in India.
